DON'T BE FOOLED! Siti ran as a write-in in the November '07 election under the auspices of the Political Integrity Team (they still have their site up) for East Fallowfield and lost. Now she is running again, along with her husband - backed and assisted by some from the same 'Political Integrity' group. There is, unfortunately, no integrity in this group and their interests are self-serving. Nothing has changed so again ... DON'T BE FOOLED! The Crooks are litigious & have cost our township dearly... I wrote about her last year...
I was criticized for talking trash by one of the "Political Integrity Team" people. In hindsight, what I said was true. The Crooks lost their appeal on February 8, 2008 (download determination by Judge Nagle). Both EFT's Zoning Board and EFT Supervisors had to have legal representation to fight off this suit. Thanks for racking up our legal expenses Siti. I don't have the exact numbers but I have heard numbers in excess of of $20,000 and up to $40,000. Maybe you will learn 'No is No!', and learn to abide by rule and law. Bypass (break) the law altogether... The Crooks, specifically Siti, asked our Board of Supervisors what would happen (ignored the law) if she simply finished of her home as a duplex and rented the other half. The Board said 'probably nothing unless someone turned her in.' I have a 28 minute video of this if you need proof but I don't plan on posting it as it is old news to most of us. Siti has been reported by neighbors. Township officials, following up on the complaint, were told to leave immediately and were denied access to substantiate the claim. Conflict of Interest... The Crooks are affiliated with the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship Farm located in our township. The Bawa organization is on again, off again about building multiple homes, or residential units - reports from 50 to several hundred units - on the 100 acre parcel they own. They cancelled a special meeting to pursue the matter last last year. Until this matter is resolved one way or another, placing either Crook on as a supervisor is a conflict of interest. SPECIAL NOTE: This may be a touchy subject for those of you who are members of the Bawa Fellowship. It shouldn't be. This is not about your faith. It is about the conflict of interest created by having 1 to 2 of your members in a position of governing our township with a bias in your favor. The Crooks present this argument as 'discrimination' and a 'hate crime' against your fellowship and your religion. Nothing could be further from the truth. Our township has suffered for years from various boards having members with a vested and non-impartial interest in various projects (i.e. a conflict of interest.) It's time this practice ends. Self-serving... Attend a few meetings and you will quickly learn the Crooks act and speak only when they stand to gain or they have NOT gotten what they wanted. Neither has any experience or has served in a public servant capacity (or for the public's well-being.) All their questions, issues, law suites, hate-crime allegations, discrimination allegations, and accusations of premature appointment of a Planning Commission member all have to do with them not getting what they want. Dennis Crook at the March meeting read a complaint in front of board accussing the board of "nebolism". Because of his inability to read the word "nepotism", one can only infer that his wife, Siti, writes his material. A tag-team mismatch for what our township needs. As far away from fair and representative government as you can get. Fiscally Irresponsible... Siti and Dennis tried to push through the hiring of a township manager, a position that would cost our township (us) approximately $125,000. Their desire for one was because they believe a township manager would have averted their decision to take our township to court. Wishful thinking. Little did the the Crooks appreciate the financial disaster our township faced last year of a $300,000 deficit. They believe incurring this $125,000 salaried expense position will save our township money. How's that for fuzzy math? Whining and complaining... The Crooks are still affiliated with 1 to 2 members of the Political Integrity Team of East Fallowfield who, in the November 2007 election, almost insisted that we take them to court to rectify their violation of our political sign ordinance. Again, an issue of attempting to shirt the law, and right and wrong. Siti complained publicly at our township meeting about how she was hurt by things said, done, and supposedly said and done. She exonerated herself of any wrong doing, and failed to own the impact of associating herself with people that do things wrong. Now we are in another election cycle and the Crooks have not changed a single thing. They broke the law then. They have broken the law since then. They continue to associate with people with covert and self-serving interests. They want to be treated better but do not have the character nor integrity to warrant such consideration. Siti wrote me in December the following:
I attempted to respond to her for several hours and could not because as I finally determined, I was angry. Too angry at the time. Now that I've had time to calm down, here is my response...
