Thanks to All Who Came Out to Vote on April 22nd. This site will be updated soon! Thanks for Your Patience!

TO ALL RESIDENTS OF EAST FALLOWFIELD TOWNSHIP

VOTE YES TO LEWIS WILSON & CHRIS AMENTAS ON APRIL 22nd!

April 22nd is Primary Day in Pennsylvania and your opportunity to vote for 2 (out of 4) candidates running for Township Supervisor.

Because of your vote last November (2007) for Chris Makely and the 3 to 5 Referendum, positive change is occurring in our township. Our township is more responsive and accountable to ALL our residents. Our government is more transparent, and our board is more representative. We have a balanced budget (due in large part to Supervisor Makely)and averted a property tax for this fiscal year. Our police department, which accounts for almost $1 million of our annual budget, has streamlined its operations and is still providing us with the quality of protection we desire. Resident problems that went unanswered for months are being addressed and resolved. And there is more! The point is YOUR VOTE DOES MAKE THE DIFFERENCE AND WE NEED YOUR VOTE AGAIN!

The two best candidates are Lewis Wilson & Chris Amentas. Click on their links to go to their we sites. They are worthy of your vote. These two will add to the diversity of representation, responsiveness, direction, and efficiency of our township government.

DON'T BE FOOLED!

Siti ran as a write-in in the November '07 election under the auspices of the Political Integrity Team (they still have their site up) for East Fallowfield and lost. Now she is running again, along with her husband - backed and assisted by some from the same 'Political Integrity' group. There is, unfortunately, no integrity in this group and their interests are self-serving. Nothing has changed so again ... DON'T BE FOOLED!

The Crooks are litigious & have cost our township dearly...

I wrote about her last year...

Siti began coming to meetings because she wanted to turn a mother-in-law suite into a duplex to rent out. It is against our ordinances and she was told so early on. Trying to pierce the ordinance and find a loop hole, Siti has filed law suits against the township in an attempt to GET HER WAY. She has lost all her cases thus far but is still pursuing further litigation. Put her and her team of Political Integrity in office, and she will be able to bypass the ordinance and get her duplex.

I was criticized for talking trash by one of the "Political Integrity Team" people. In hindsight, what I said was true.

The Crooks lost their appeal on February 8, 2008 (download determination by Judge Nagle). Both EFT's Zoning Board and EFT Supervisors had to have legal representation to fight off this suit. Thanks for racking up our legal expenses Siti. I don't have the exact numbers but I have heard numbers in excess of of $20,000 and up to $40,000. Maybe you will learn 'No is No!', and learn to abide by rule and law.

Bypass (break) the law altogether...

The Crooks, specifically Siti, asked our Board of Supervisors what would happen (ignored the law) if she simply finished of her home as a duplex and rented the other half. The Board said 'probably nothing unless someone turned her in.' I have a 28 minute video of this if you need proof but I don't plan on posting it as it is old news to most of us.

Siti has been reported by neighbors. Township officials, following up on the complaint, were told to leave immediately and were denied access to substantiate the claim.

Conflict of Interest...

The Crooks are affiliated with the Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship Farm located in our township. The Bawa organization is on again, off again about building multiple homes, or residential units - reports from 50 to several hundred units - on the 100 acre parcel they own. They cancelled a special meeting to pursue the matter last last year. Until this matter is resolved one way or another, placing either Crook on as a supervisor is a conflict of interest.

SPECIAL NOTE: This may be a touchy subject for those of you who are members of the Bawa Fellowship. It shouldn't be. This is not about your faith. It is about the conflict of interest created by having 1 to 2 of your members in a position of governing our township with a bias in your favor.

The Crooks present this argument as 'discrimination' and a 'hate crime' against your fellowship and your religion. Nothing could be further from the truth. Our township has suffered for years from various boards having members with a vested and non-impartial interest in various projects (i.e. a conflict of interest.) It's time this practice ends.

Self-serving...

Attend a few meetings and you will quickly learn the Crooks act and speak only when they stand to gain or they have NOT gotten what they wanted. Neither has any experience or has served in a public servant capacity (or for the public's well-being.) All their questions, issues, law suites, hate-crime allegations, discrimination allegations, and accusations of premature appointment of a Planning Commission member all have to do with them not getting what they want.

Dennis Crook at the March meeting read a complaint in front of board accussing the board of "nebolism". Because of his inability to read the word "nepotism", one can only infer that his wife, Siti, writes his material. A tag-team mismatch for what our township needs. As far away from fair and representative government as you can get.

Fiscally Irresponsible...

Siti and Dennis tried to push through the hiring of a township manager, a position that would cost our township (us) approximately $125,000. Their desire for one was because they believe a township manager would have averted their decision to take our township to court. Wishful thinking.

Little did the the Crooks appreciate the financial disaster our township faced last year of a $300,000 deficit. They believe incurring this $125,000 salaried expense position will save our township money. How's that for fuzzy math?

Whining and complaining...

The Crooks are still affiliated with 1 to 2 members of the Political Integrity Team of East Fallowfield who, in the November 2007 election, almost insisted that we take them to court to rectify their violation of our political sign ordinance. Again, an issue of attempting to shirt the law, and right and wrong.

Siti complained publicly at our township meeting about how she was hurt by things said, done, and supposedly said and done. She exonerated herself of any wrong doing, and failed to own the impact of associating herself with people that do things wrong.

Now we are in another election cycle and the Crooks have not changed a single thing. They broke the law then. They have broken the law since then. They continue to associate with people with covert and self-serving interests. They want to be treated better but do not have the character nor integrity to warrant such consideration.

Siti wrote me in December the following:

Dear Milby,

The following is the link to a website filled with wisdom and knowledge shared by (name and web site deleted out of respect) .

I’ve thought about sending this e-mail to you almost daily since the meeting on November 28.  I finally decided it is time to send it.

I have to admit that I am still healing the scars from the election tactics.

For me trust is a privilege earned; it is not a right.

I want to move forward to create community in East Fallowfield Township and I trust you will act with respect and integrity from hereon out, PLEASE!!!!!.

I attempted to respond to her for several hours and could not because as I finally determined, I was angry. Too angry at the time. Now that I've had time to calm down, here is my response...

Dear Siti,

As a neighbor and fellow resident, I will treat you with consideration and fairness.

As you continue to associate with those who do not have the community of East Fallowfield Township at heart, and as you and they have demonstrated on repeated occassion that you will and do break the law when it suites your interests to do so, we are not nor will be in agreement.

I do not trust you and as you have not amended or owned your conduct, including that of your Political Integrity Team in the November election, will not in the forseeable future. You are not worthy of my trust nor confidence.

Our township has made tremendous strides toward becoming responsible, accessible, responsive, and accountable since the new Board of Supervisors took office in January '08 - more so in three months than the three years prior.

I will continue to support any willing resident who volunteers (elected included) their time for the betterment of our community so long as they conduct themselves selflessly and with character and intergrity. There are many persons on various committees who have given an extraordinary amount to make things happen and I applaud them for their determination, resilience, stamina, and sacrifice. Extraordinary individuals.

Your efforts to inflame matters and present yourself as a victim of discrimination or hate crime are self-induced and bogus. Playing on the sentiments of others, whether religious or other, to conclude the same will result in potentially polarizing our community. This shall be an unfortunate outcome but as you continually place your needs above others, I do not put it past you to play the 'card.'

On a closing note, you are not deserving of the respect and integrity you seem to want. You are not above the law nor deserving of exceptions to the law. You tote unfortunate baggage, exhibit an explosive temper, and fail to grasp the bigger picture of what is wrong in our township and how to make it right. When you enter into public service, you need to give up what you want and serve the needs of the public.

I was sympathetic toward you in the November election and felt you were the sacrificial lamb put forward by your "Team."  My intent was not to hurt you but to assist in the election of Mr. Makely while pointing out specific reasons why electing you or your team would not be good for East Fallowfield. As you have not corrected nor even acknowledged any of your flaws or weaknesses, have built no bridges to greater understanding of the diverse needs of our residents, and are playing the same game with the same people as you did in November - I fail to see how you or Dennis (I cannot determine a distinction between you) would be a good selection for a public servant of our township.

I will continue to be courteous to you as you are a fellow resident in my community but that is all. I offer you no false expectation of anything more, nor want or expect anything of you in return.
